PERFORMANCE EXPERTS
NETWORK FOR TEACHERS
Interested teachers receive further training, inspiration and exchange in order to facilitate cultural projects and theatre visits in their schools as performance experts in the future. The teacher training programme includes introductions to contemporary dance and theatre performances as well as related practical workshops.
Both offers provide material to prepare a multifaceted visit to a performance with different classes:
-
Education and further training for teachers of all school types who are interested in learning more about dance in front of and behind the scenes.
-
Establishment of a teacher network in Munich with the aim of having a contact person for contemporary performing arts at every school in the long term.
The selected teacher receives further training opportunities and becomes part of a social network with an affinity for the arts, acting as a key person and mediator between the artistic productions and the school (practical workshops, introductions, rehearsal visits, artist talks, etc.).
The offers take place at irregular intervals, approximately every 8 weeks. Participation in the workshops is free of charge for teachers and is certified as further training.
The project is supported by the Cultural Department of the City of Munich and the Neustart Kulturprogramm Tanzpakt Reconnect.

The experienced choreographer and dance teacher Annerose Schmidt, who has already led youth dance projects at the Residenztheater, the Kammerspiele and the Schauburg, will give an introduction to the structure of a movement lesson for a target audience in their teens. How is it possible to give young people self-confidence and security, to get them moving in dance and to introduce them to their own creative potential? Annerose Schmidt works with fixed step material, which she presents in this workshop and shows how she transfers this material into guided improvisations.
Participation in workshops is free of charge for educators and is certified as further education.

Bewegungsspiele & Blitz-Choreographien
