The activities of Fokus Tanz are funded by the Cultural Department of the City of Munich within the framework of ACCESS TO DANCE.
ACCESS TO DANCE is a programme to promote and strengthen contemporary dance in Bavaria, which was initiated by an association of various Munich dance organisations and institutions - Tanzbasis e. V. - in 2006 within the framework of Tanzplan Deutschland. Through diverse interdisciplinary activities and institutional networking, ACCESS TO DANCE brings together practice and theory and creates sustainable new structures and formats for dance in Munich and Bavaria.
ACCESS TO DANCE is supported by the Cultural Department of the State Capital Munich, the Bavarian State Association for Contemporary Dance (BLZT) with funds from the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art.
explore dance – Netzwerk Tanz für junges Publikum
The project explore dance - Network Dance for Young Audiences is a project of fabrik Potsdam, Fokus Tanz | Tanz und Schule e.V. Munich and K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg under the auspices of fabrik moves gUG. It is funded by TANZPAKT Stadt-Land-Bund with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, the Department of Culture and Media of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the Cultural Department of the City of Munich and the Bavarian State Association for Contemporary Dance with funds from the Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs, as well as the City of Potsdam and the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg.
REACH OUT
The projects within REACH OUT are supported by Bureau Ritter/TANZPAKT RECONNECT, which is funded by the German Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as part of the NEUSTART KULTUR initiative.
The T29 dance space is a cooperation project with TanzQuelle and Bad Lemons Project and is also supported by the programme TANZPAKT RECONNECT.
THINK BIG! Festival
The THINK BIG! Festival is a cooperation project with the SCHAUBURG - Theatre for Young Audiences of the City of Munich, HochX Theatre and Live Art, the schwere reiter, PATHOS Theatre and Muffatwerk. The THINK BIG! Festival is supported by the Cultural Department of the City of Munich within the framework of ACCESS TO DANCE.
